Spend Valentine’s Day by the Candlelight

Candlelight concerts are some of the most popular music events in the world, and we are so lucky to have a diverse selection here in Manchester – including the upcoming Taylor Swift concerts! No matter the theme, these concerts offer attendees a romantic, soul-cleansing evening of music and ambience – so how could they not do a Valentine’s Day special?

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Manchester.

The Valentine’s Day special will take place at Concorde Conference Centre in Altrincham – and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Each concert is an hour long. The event is suitable for those aged eight and above but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is assigned on a first-come first-served basis.

The special will, of course, be made up of romantic classics, from Edith Piaf’s ‘La Vie en rose’ to The Righteous Brothers’ iconic cover of ‘Unchained Melody’ and, of course, Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’. The numbers will be performed by the sensational String Infusion.

If you can’t make the Valentine’s Day special – perhaps you are going for a candlelit dinner instead – then be sure to check out what other Candlelight concerts are taking place in Manchester, including the Taylor Swift concerts on February 17 and 24.

Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special takes place at Concorde Conference Centre, Manchester on February 14 (obviously).
