Remi Wolf, who recently supported Olivia Rodrigo on her European tour, has recently embarked on a world tour of her own – which includes a stop at Manchester’s iconic Albert Hall.
The Big Ideas Tour brings to life Remi’s sophomore album, Big Ideas, which was released this summer to incredible reviews.
Supporting Olivia Rodrigo on her GUTS World Tour, Remi thrilled audiences in sold-out arenas across the UK and Europe, including four dates at The O2 in London and two shows at the Accor Arena in Paris. Remi recently performed a sold-out headline show at Electric Brixton, delivered a high-energy set at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and graced the stage at Glastonbury. Her special in-store acoustic performance and Q&A at Rough Trade East sold out immediately.
Remi became a TikTok sensation in 2020, when her song ‘Photo ID’ went viral. She continues to solidify herself as this generation’s alternative pop heartthrob with her latest release of companion singles, ‘TORO’, an unrestrained dance anthem, and ‘Alone in Miami’, a heart-string-pulling alt-rock meditation. The singles follow Remi’s first release of the year, ‘Cinderella,’ an audacious entry into the pop sphere that made news everywhere and earned her a debut performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Big Ideas propels Remi to new heights as her honed sense of self and musicianship is on full display, presenting her big ideas as a magnum opus of guitar-smashing, hair-raising, soul-bearing, lung-filling, life-altering bangers. Following the release of her 2021 critically acclaimed debut album Juno, Remi’s ascent into stardom has been undeniable.
She has performed all over the world; whether it be at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, SXSW, Newport Folk Festival and Bonnaroo, selling out tours across North America and Europe at venues like Terminal 5 in NYC or The Shrine in LA, or opening for artists like Lorde, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Paramore.
She has been named a VEVO DSCVR artist and a MTV PUSH artist, profiled for Amazon Music, and covers Apple Music’s New Music Daily. She has amassed over 1 Billion global streams across a prolific body of work over a relatively short amount of time, including debut album Juno and the extended version Juno Deluxe, EPs I’m Allergic To Dogs and You’re A Dog, remix album We Love Dogs with collaborations from Beck, Nile Rodgers, Dominic Fike, The Free Nationals and Sylvan Esso, and her live album Live at Electric Lady.
Even her cover songs have had a moment in the viral spotlight, including her cover of ‘Pink and White’ by Frank Ocean, her triple j cover of ‘Valerie’ by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse, her remix collaboration with Paramore of their song ‘You First’, and her cover of ‘Change’ by Big Thief for the Norah Jones Is Playing Along podcast.
Remi Wolf tours the UK and Ireland with The Big Ideas Tour from November 28 to December 5.
